Meet Alex, Linchpin’s UX/UI Designer

Alex Lebon Designer

With a solid foundation in graphic and web design, Alex has vast experience in leading cross-platform campaigns as well as creating printed and digital brand collateral for a variety of clientele.

Q: Where did you work before this, what experience do you have from there?

A: I previously worked at Care New England and before that I worked at Collette Travel. As a designer at both organization’s, I primary worked on creating campaign creative and brand strategy.

Q: What is your career focus?

A: Throughout the years, I’ve always enjoyed creating digital assets and landing pages, which has lead me to a new career path in UX/UI design. My dream goal is one day create my own application/product.

Q: What do you believe your best strength is within the company?

A: I would say my best strength is showing optimism when it’s really needed.

Q: How would you describe yourself with three words?

A: Driven, efficient and positive.

Q: How would your friends describe you?

A: Compassionate, curious and energetic.

Q: What is currently your computer background?

A: Some galaxy in the universe that I do not know the name of.

Q: If money didn’t matter, what would you do all day?

A: Travel the world with my loved ones. First stop, Italy! ✈️

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?

A: When people don’t take accountability and excessive complaining.

Q: What makes you bored?

A: Doing nothing drives me crazy. I like to be doing something productive, even on the weekends. Occasional lazy days are acceptable when needed!

Do the things you truly love and be your true authentic self while achieving them.

Q: Tell me about something you would happily do again.

A: I would drive the Pacific Coast in Cali again.

Q: What are your three most overused words or phrases?

A: “Wait really?”, “I am dead, lol!”, “I need food.”

Q: What are two things you have with you at all times?

A: My water jug and a protein bar.

Q: How would you define success?

A: Doing the things you truly love and being your true authentic self while achieving them.

Q: What advice would you give to your 18 year old self?

A: Be patient and relax, you’ll get there.

Q: What is the first thing on your bucket list?

A: Go to the edge of Earth’s atmosphere. Maybe the moon?

Q: Favorite activities on your day off?

A: Love being outdoors whenever it’s nice out ☀️ going out to eat to new restaurants 🍽 and getting a good workout in 🏋🏼‍♂️

Q: What is one thing you can’t live without?

A: My loved ones, and dumbbells.

Q: What does true leadership mean to you?

A: To me, true leadership is someone who can guide a team by motivating them and inspiring them to get
where they want to be in their career, by giving them the opportunity and tools they need to do so.

With a keen eye for detail, Mary Beth dreams of a pixel perfect world. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History, Mary Beth’s love of learning sent her back to her alma mater where she further explored her passion for information architecture and user experience, earning a degree in Web & Interactive Design.
